There is something comforting in the fact that looking up at Jupiter in the morning sky, knowing that every minute you stare at it, its getting closer to our planet by 1,000 miles per minute because of its orbit around the sun...and even though its roughly 448 million miles away from us (the sun is always 93 million miles), we have to thank Jupiter for us being here, if not for its immense gravitational field that protects us life would have never flourished here, deflecting comets and other space debris as well....just the immense vastness of our own solar system itself and knowing that most of the stars most people assume they are looking at are actually galaxies, I love it
