There is something special about being a Tar Heel. Of course just getting accepted and graduating is a feat that others see as miraculous. Aside from that, there is a special bond that we share that is hard to explain. It doesnt matter what your graduating class year was, what race you are, or what your background is, once you are a Tar Heel, you can go around the globe & be embraced by other members of the Tar Heel Family without hesitation. Whether you were a star athlete while there, a Morehead scholar, a student activist, a member of a Greek organization, or any other category that you choose, we share that common bond that never goes away. When one of us falls, we all fall. When one of us rises, we all rise. I am posting this in memory of all the Tar Heels that we have lost and for all those who continue to carry the light of The Hill around the world. GO TAR HEELS!!!
