There is still one spot left for the SPCA Annexe Youth Ambassador Program (YAP) session which begins on September 5, from 5:00-7:30. If you know of any teens who might be interested in participating, please contact Colleen Ovenden at yap@spca. The fee per session is $75. The SPCA Annexe Youth Ambassador Program (YAP) is an experienced-based program for youths aged 12-17. It offers the opportunity for small groups to participate in a series of six-week sessions and become actively involved with the SPCA through supervised interaction with animals. The goal of this program is twofold: to teach youths empathy and compassion, and to build self-esteem, develop social responsibility, and encourage advocacy.
