There is such a wonderful feeling when you see your fellow RNs and entire healthcare team positively shaping the future of nursing through their gracious precepting of nursing students during clinical rotations!!! I know it takes great teamwork to make this happen, and I am so proud to call these folks my co-workers as well!!! From the newest to the most seasoned staff members, your kindness, positive attitudes, your willingness to share your time, experiences, encouragement, and your excellent tutelage is appreciated more than you can possibly imagine by the students and me!!! Youve taken the time to explain complicated procedures while providing the evidence-based rationale driving those actions, youve modeled patient advocacy that shows genuine caring and respect for those in your care, and you have shown graciousness in allowing my wonderful students to be a part of your patient care team on even your busiest and most challenging workdays! As the Summer, 2014 clinical draws to a close, saying a simple Thanks just seems so inadequate to express what your generosity and kindness has meant to all of us!!! Looking forward to a great Fall, 2014 semester with you!!! Our assigned units--4D, OHR, ED, Cath Lab, ICU, and CCU folks--YOU are wonderful!!! Ill try to name a few--this definitely not a complete list of names of the amazing healthcare team who have made a difference this summer and make a difference every day!!!
