There is talk of making annulments free and simpler. I think that this is a more significant problem in other parts of the world, however, and not in the U. S. An annulment may cost $250 to $500 here to partially cover the costs of the Tribunal office - and is ALWAYS waived for those who cant afford it. The process is NOT terribly complicated or painful - in fact, it can be very healing. If you need an annulment contact your pastor and get things underway!
