There is the ordinary level and there is the advanced level Christianity. The ordinary level Christians are those who look forward to satisfying their hedonistic desires as their reason for serving God. They cannot bear hardship and when things are not working well, they easily turn their back or back out of the church. The Bible says in Proverbs 24:10 that if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. The advanced level says though I am killed, I will hold on. Our level determines the kind of trials we can face. If you want to go on the higher plane of spirituality, then get prepared for tests that you are built to face. One good thing is that there is grace for every level you attain. Shalom!
