There is this place... This beautiful space between reality and the fabric of time. We forget it exists as we go about our daily lives, but it is always there lurking in the shadows... We dont necessarily want to enter it, as it is a scary spot to visit... Our visits there are infrequent, and only come when we are fully ready. This special place appears when life has tested us to what we feel is our breaking point... But then goes further and breaks us down more... fully... Past where we thought out hearts could go. It is a space in infinity where we must just let go and surrender to it all... To whatever is... Our nature is to cling onto what is known... to what is familiar. It is natural to fight, to try to hold on tighter... Because we fear that if we let go, we might get lost for good... .... We could try to hold on forever... to build walls up to aid our efforts... But in the end, life always wins out and forces us to release that grip. It forces us to enter this place of supplication... To look ourselves straight in the mirror ... to see the truth of who we are... This surrender is one that is so complete, so pure, it scares us! Who wants to surrender to pain... to heartache... to loss.? But it is at those times ... where we are like putty... Where we are fully pliant, that our characters are built.... molded... made stronger ... When you give up trying to understand, and can only feel, experience and be... You have finally found this place... This undefinable location... Eventually understanding will come, life will move back to normality.....but until the two become one we must simply surrender to what is.... we can only feel. Nothing is certain. Nothing lasts. We must simply be grateful for exactly where we are.... It hurts to be here, but damn it is beautiful ....
