There may come a moment when you realize that You are a mash-up of all the definitions and expectations that have been laid upon you. It is time to lay these down and rise up into who YOU are. You have been made to think their thoughts, and see through their eyes. It is time now for you to occupy your own mind, and see with your own eyes. You have been convinced that they must be right, and know better than you do. Where did that idea come from? Stop outsourcing and externalizing the authority for your life. Jesus said, “The Sabbath was made to serve us; we weren’t made to serve the Sabbath. The Son of Man is no lackey to the Sabbath. He’s in charge!” In other words, the source of authority for your life is YOU. At the seat of yourself is that same Self that was the truth of Jesus. The only true rulership is the inner rulership that emanates from that Self. You answer to no person, religion, or institution. The way forward for each of us is to tap into and give expression to the one Life that constitutes the truth of each of us and all things. That Life always leads to freedom. This is why Jesus said that knowing the truth sets you FREE. Knowing the truth does NOT ever lead to: fear, shame, oppression, coercion, repression, outside control, or domination.
