There must be five seasons in Smithville; spring, summer, fall, monsoon and winter! With all the clouds and rain that we have been having, its just not a good time to listen to the news and hear about all the ugly things going on in the world. It just might be that national and local news reports should be geared according to the weather: only report bad news when it is a perfect day, sunshiny; and then when its cloudy and dreary report only the good news. Isnt it always odd to you that on national news they talk about the wars, the riots, the tragedies and then right at the end of the newscast they finally report something thats really good; like that negates all the bad stuff we just heard about. I do believe in life we must be steadily seeking out the good. Oh, it may be some little thing, but it is good! Actually each of us should be striving to make good news for those around us to see. Even the team that lost more games than any other team in the season has an award banquet at the end. I do believe regardless of the amount of rain, or the cloud coverage, all the bad that is happening right now, the stress and the uncertainties of life, the day will come when well sit back and say to ourselves It doesnt get any better than this. And, by all means dont ever forget that perfection is just around the corner! Sometimes the sky looks dark with not a ray of light, were tossed and driven on, no human help in sight; but there is One in heaven Who knows our deepest care, let Jesus solve your problem, just go to Him in prayer. It will be worth it all when we see Jesus, lifes trials will seem so small when we see Christ; one glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase, so bravely run the race till we see Christ. Please continue praying for our daughter Duska!
