There seem to appear a uniform pattern of judicial apathy in all societies divided on the lines of race, caste, religion, ethnicity, gender etc. The recent pronouncement of the Grand Jurys to let go the shooter in the Ferguson shooting incident of an unarmed African American Teenager has confirmed this gross apathy. The Majority communities atrocities are institutionally protected leaving the lives of the minorities as a matter of no concern. The Pronouncement in the Kambalpalli incident or Narayanpur Bathe incident are some of Indias reflections on the issue. A serious academic, political and social debate is needed to sensitize the Judicial system in making them realize that the lives of the socially invisible, economically underprivileged and politically neglected does matter as per the constitution of their respective countries.
