There should be a platform for Youth Empowerment and Youth-led Action in solomon island I believe that the transformation of the society free from oppression and suffering relies on its young. Therefore such platform facilitates transformation in the context and the process through advancing the peoples right. Further it commits to build and or strengthen youth engagement. 1. Community: Given the scope of engagement and the Socio-Economic, Political and Cultural context, YEAH defines “Youth” as “Every Person living between the age of 13 - 35” 2. Vision: “To Educate, Engage, Equip and Empower Youth for a Transformational Society” 3. Mission: A. Educate Youth through continued introspection of their Socio-Economic, Political and Cultural relationships, practices and living; B. Engage Youth in communities to witness the relatedness of their realities and issues of marginalisation; C. Equip Youth to address oppression and suffering of the self and that of the communities; D. Empower Youth to re-engage as agents of transformation of communities free from marginalisation through youth-led initiatives 4. Values: Gender Just, Rights Based, Pro-Marginalised 5.
