There was a BBQ planned for tomorrow in the Biel – Benken Grillplatz. A few of us have checked the weather forecast, and unfortunately it looks like the weather is going to be pretty dire this evening and tomorrow in the Biel – Benken area: thunderstorms later this evening and rain tomorrow. Not too different from typical Irish weather :) Because of this, we’ve decided to postpone the BBQ. Pity, because we were certainly looking forward to it, but it won’t be much of a BBQ if it’s wet and muddy and difficult / impossible to start a fire to cook the grub. So we’re changing the date to two weeks from tomorrow, same time and place. So hope to see you there with on the 13th of July for some food, drink and Irish music. If there are some of you that still don’t have the word document with directions on how to get there, send us an email at BaselIrishClub@gmail and I’ll send a copy to you. Hope to see you with us in two weeks. In the meantime, come to the trad session in Nelsons pub this coming Wednesday at 8pm to listen to some of our committee members (and friends) play some live Irish music. BIC Committee
