There was a beautiful celebration and tribute to the life for Deacon Larry Brown at Tabernacle today! Pastor Cory Jones gave the eulogy, and shared that Psalm 1 reminds him of Deacon Brown. Psalm 1:1-2 (NKJV) states: Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. Everyone who spoke of Deacon Larry Brown talked about what a good man he was -- calm, encouraging, teaching, praying and loving. He was blessed, but we too were blessed to have had the opportunity to know him. May he rest in peace. His memorial service is available on Livestream.
