There was a completely ridiculous, fear-mongering, rather rude article featured on Scary Mommy recently. (I hate to even talk about it, and I certainly wont link to it. It doesnt deserve any traffic.) Basically, the writer says yes, she *does* have the right to force you to vaccinate your kids for her benefit. NO. Absolutely not. Vaccination is a medical decision that comes with risks and benefits and its up to each individual (or each parent, when it comes to children) to make that decision. No one else *ever* has the right to force it on anyone else. I cannot state that strongly enough. Someone ought to share this post with everyone who thinks that post was even remotely reasonable. Because it wasnt, and the author needs to understand exactly why not. We support families who say We choose vaccines 100%.
