There was a man. As a boy he lost his mother. His father abused him. As a law student, studying fervently to rise above his troubled life, he had a ray of hope in his fiancé. Then she died. He became suicidal. He was locked up and watched by friends until they deemed him able to go on. He remained melancholy through the rest of his life. He returned to his studies, finished, then 7 months later, penniless, decided to run for the state house. He later married, became President, was hated by many, lost a child, then was assassinated. Today he is remembered as one of our most beloved Presidents. There is even a monument built of him. I almost forgot.........he was a Democrat. One may overcome much in life, do well in some times, suffer in other times, have life end badly, but be celebrated by ones coming after you. Ya just never know, so dont worry about it. Aint a dang thing you can do about it.
