There was a parade thru the main streets of Narasapuram to the venue of the Bapu statue before the inauguration. In addition to the large TANA delegation led by President Mohan Nannapaneni, two ministers of AP state, two members of parliament, all the local legislators, and the Deputy Speaker participated. The streets were decorated with a large number of banners and there was a huge festive atmosphere. People of Natasapuram were genuinely enthudiastic and appreciative. many thanks and heartfelt appreciation to SatishVemana, Secretary of TANA and Narasapram MLA Sri Bandaru Madhavanaidu coordinated this entire Bapu statue project. Thanks also to the AP State Government which made this an official State Event.
