There was a reason for this posting. Many years ago, in a school a young lad (me) got into a fight jostling to get out of the classroom a teacher (Mr Bryon) grabbed both boys one by the neck the other by the arm, as one boy tore himself away from his grip his fingernails took the skin of his neck, this young lad wanted his neck on the block for such abuse. He gathered his mates as witnesses and promptly went home to tell his Mum. Whist his Mum tended his sore neck with germolene the story unfolded and much to the boys surprise his mum didnt support him in anyway. In fact quite the opposite, she made him go into school the next day and apologise to the teacher. Not happy about this the boy did as he was told. The next morning came and he dutifully apologised for being a pain in the arse, and an apology came back. The matter ended there. This is not the end of the story the next school term said teacher became the boys form tutor and mentor. And helped him through a lot of his adolescence. So heres to Mr Byron for being human and top man and to you Mum for making me choose the right path! X
