There was a time in my life that I felt like being a Mom was not enough. I had to do MORE. I saw needs and hurts and wanted to help. I thought I had to DO more BE more. I thought I had to help others all the time to be important in the faith. If I was not making a difference in the lives of others, I was failing as a believer. This Past year..God has lead me on a little journey of the heart. This summer..I spent so much time with HIM and with my kids. I got set free from some lies I had bought into. And Im living out the TRUTH he spoke to my heart for my family. The biggest impact I have ever made in the Kingdom of God, started in my marriage..my relationship with Bryan..and in parenting my kids. Our family unit. So its been back to the basics...the foundation, That if we..our kids dont have We cant stand up and help anyone else Breakfast as a family every morning Reading them the truth every day Feeding those spirits, not just those cute faces Challenging each other to remember what He says about our lives and actions and relationships. More important than academics, sports, activities, church attendance and helping ANYONE Is HIM and the Family Unit Modeling healthy relationships and strengthening the relationships we individually have with The Lord and the relationships we have with each other. Talking...face to face....the real kind of FACE time. I got off track somewhere along the way, And just like the Loving Father that HE is...he took me by the hand and slowly and gently brought me back to where he wanted me to be. Helping others is SO important Laying down our lives is a command Loving others.....its all in the word. And so is marriage and family God created us to have a relationship with us Not to just put us to work and watch us perform for him Balancing and perspective - Very thankful he loved me enough to bring me back to the table Back to the basics Back to the reality he created for me I am reaching the nations every single day And impacting generations for the Kingdom Right at my kitchen table...
