There was a time in my life when, though believing Jesus was the Way, I still felt lost. Thought believing he was the Truth, I did not have much truth in me. And even though I believed he was the Life, I could not find the life he had for me. Every storm kept me running. Every voice in my heart claimed to be true. Every battle that took place in my mind just left me dazed and confused. I believe this is where the enemy of the kingdom of God would love for us to remain; a state where we know little of what God has said, leaving us captive to our thoughts and imaginations, robbing us not only of having a strong foundation, but of even having the revelation of what it is we are meant to be building. As I have shared in my testimony, although I grew up in church, a lot of these foundational principles were not grounded in my life. Memorize and meditate on the Scriptures daily, and teach others to do the same. Together, we will make this generation a people full of the knowledge of Gods Word-a people with a strong foundation worth handing down to the next generation-Peter Furler, lead singer of Newsboys Although I didnt write it, this is my testimony. Its amazing how, although we each have our own unique journey, we still have so much common. No one is perfect. Everyone has a past. We have overcome, continuing to overcome and grow in Christ. Although I always believed in God & grew up in church, I could not find the Life he had for me. I was good at so many things that I did everything, didnt keep God first, and lost Gods purpose for my life. Thats where the devil rejoices because by hating on ourselves and being depressed, feeling like we dont have a purpose and are unfulfilled, we are not furthering Gods kingdom or portraying the character that is synonymous of an ambassador of Christ. It is when I began to meditate upon Gods Word that His purpose for me was revealed. The fear vanished. Peace, joy, patient endurance and generosity overtook me and the gifts that I have been blessed with, I use them all today in my own unique way. Never give up on yourself. Focus on what God says about you. You have a gift (s) to share with the world that only you can give better than anyone else in the world. You are a masterpiece, custom made, & one of a kind. Everything about you is unique and everything about you matters. Never forget how amazing and beautiful you are! Youre a ROCKSTAR! GOD BLESS!
