There was a young man walking down a road. He came upon an older gentleman that stop to talk with him… As they spoke, the older gentleman noticed a rash on the young mans flesh. But the young man didn’t know where it came from. The old man told him to put some water in a bucket, dip fig into the bucket, then eat it and it should take the rash away. The young man went to fetch some water, and the older man agreed to fetch a fig. And it worked! The young man said; "how did you know that would work"…The older man explained to him that he had walked this road before, and the same thing happened to him. And he tried many things, but this is what worked for him. And they rejoiced together…. Sometimes in life, it takes for us to go through something to identify with what someone else is going through. Thus some of the things God allows us to go through, are meant for us to help someone else make it through that same situation down the road. So instead of complaining, I choose to retain… Keeping within my soul the path in which God brought me through. Keeping tied upon the strings of my heart the remedy God used to heal my soul, or the understanding God gave me to make it through a situation…. Don’t complain. RETAIN… Our souls are like cups, and when God brings us through something, we develop an anointing that fills our cup more and more as we grow, so that we can pour that blessing upon others. All to the Glory of God… If you are going through a rough situation…keep your eyes on God so you can see how He brings you through…Expect to be brought through as You seek to get closer to God… And let that anointing upon your life be a blessing in the lives of others….
