There was an interesting theory thrown out there on Off the Ball (I think, or the Rugby Show, some podcast anyway) about the hole BODs left Leinster and Ireland to deal with simply by being world class. While there is almost inevitably going to be a slew of talented centres coming through in 2 or 3 years, the kids inspired by BOD to become great centres, and a slew behind them, the present generation is severely lacking, as when fit, BOD was always going to be first choice pick in that 13 position, so all these players whove probably been suited to being 13 realised they werent going to get their game, or at least have difficulty at provisional or international level and so look to become specialise in a different position. Thought it was interesting considering todays performance, and imagining the havoc he would have reeked with 13 Munster men on the pitch and 23 minutes of having the numbers advantage.
