There was/is a swimming hole located behind the hospital (a few hundred feet upriver from the walking track) that my brothers and sisters and I spent endless summer days at. There was rocks to dive from and there was even a sand bar to make it feel like a beach. I dont think a lot of people knew about it....mostly the Tunnel Hill kids and the Upper Bottom kids. We called it The Bill Doug Hole. Wondering if any one else has memories from it.
