There was once a group of graduates, highly established in their careers, who got together to visit one of their university lectures who played an important role in shaping them. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress at work and their daily lives. Offering his guest some coffee, the lecturer went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups: porcelain, glass, plastic,some plain looking an some expensive and exquisite, telling them to help themselves to the hot coffee. When all the students had a cup of coffee in their hands, the lecturer said If you noticed, all the nice looking ,expensive cups where taken, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all of you really wanted was the coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for better cups as you were eyeing each others cup. Now, if money is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are cups. They are just tools to hold and contain life, but the quality of life does not change. Sometimes , by just concentrating on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it. So dont let the cup distract you.... ENJOY the coffee instead
