There were some frightening moments for passengers on a Delta Air Lines flight that left the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport this morning. According to airport spokesman Pat Hogan, flight 309, which was headed for Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, had an engine fail when it took off. Hogan said the plane circled for roughly 25 minutes to burn fuel and then made an emergency landing at the airport. After a three hour delay, passengers were taken to Punta Cana safely. kstp.mn/78ph2
