There will be a public hearing once again for the updated more cops ordinance. An ordinance amending Title 4, Chapter 4.18, to increase the rate of sales and use tax imposed for the purpose of employing and equipping more police officers. The hearing starts at 10 am but you will want to be early as they stop letting people in when it gets crowded and parking becomes an issue. When you get inside the building there will be a desk with agendas and speaker cards, fill out the speaker card (You can write not speaking but opposed to this item if you do not wish to speak) and hand it to the nice lady at the desk.
