There will be a small orienteering event Saturday in Oxford at the East Quad area of Miami University. There will be two courses---a 2km campus sprint and a 3km forest sprint. Start times 10 am to 1 pm. Do one or both courses for a single fee. $7 for members, $10 for non-members. $2 discount if you have your own SI card or are a TROL season member. Director: Mike Minium Courses: Two short courses: "Campus" is 2 km and probably can be done in shorts. "Forest" is 3 km and will include a wet-foot stream crossing and some off-trail woods navigation. Stinging nettles and poison ivy are present in the "forest". Times will count in FAST-O Season rankings. Newcomers welcome! Directions: From I-275, exit 33, go north on US 27 to Oxford, Ohio.
