There will be cricketers...there will be legends..but there will never be another GOD Dear Sachin, Just this week i came to know that i was born almost in those days when you was starting ur your carrieer , The reason for realizing this so late is that i never really believed that cricket was ever played before you,because for me cricket made its debut with you. The first memory i have of cricket is hearing the cries of sachin sachin by my family members,relatives and neighbours while we were watching the legendary innings you were playing in sharjah. Infact my second memory of cricket is also watching you playing in the 1999 world cup in the match against Pakistan.I think that was the first time in my life that i felt the sensation of patriotism. My entire childhood i believed that MRF was a company that manufactured cricket bats and that was only because of you.When sometimes my father would bring a bat for me which didnt have that sticker on it then i would tear the sticker on it and write MRF with my red sketch pen. Every time that i missed watching your batting due to school, the first question that i asked to my mother after returning was sachin ni kiti marle,and after hearing the answer i would imagine you hitting all those runs and cheer for you.It was you who inspired every boy and girl of my generation to do something for our country. I have never seen our countrymen more united than they are while watching you play.You represent just one religion CRICKET.It was you who made us believe that we can take on the whole world, just like you did in your entire career. You became god of cricket because it was you who invented the religion of cricket.But still i would still like to call you with only one name , my beloved tendlya. You can never really retire from cricket because for your fans you are cricket. Dedicating my entire childhood to you.THANK YOU SACHIN...!!! Just one of your billions of fans,
