“Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. BE NOT OVERCOME OF EVIL, but overcome evil with good”. Rom 12:20,21. For many Christians today, it appears this verse has been removed from the Scriptures. Instead of revealing the Power of God’s Grace in their lives to their antagonists and enemies, they would rather retaliate. Jesus Christ left us an example to follow and He said “But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also”. Mt 5:39. We can live WITHOUT RETALIATION AND REVENGE, without diplomatic malice and pretentious love filled with hypocrisy. Let’s follow the Master, the Lord Jesus Christ and when next you are under pressure, ask yourself “WHAT WILL JESUS DO IF HE WERE IN MY SITUATION?” May the Lord give you the grace to follow His Footsteps.
