Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7 NKJV Submit to God: We must follow in order the two commands in this verse. First we must submit to God by abandoning our selfish pride. Dont let pride get in the way get rid of it give it all to God. Submitting to the Lord also involves putting on the whole armor of God, an image that includes everything from placing our faith in Him to immersing ourselves in the truth of Gods Word. Second, we must resist any temptation that the devil throws our way. Then the Evil One will have no choice but to flee, for we belong to the army of the Living God. If we only try to resist the devil instead of submitting to God it will never work. The devil will keep bothering us so it is better to Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. The devil came to steal, kill and destroy. But Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly. John 10:10 God is so awesome! No wonder when we have been at the feet of Jesus like Mary was the enemy gets jealous. Its so amazing of what ever we go through God is with us and to be Armored with the Full Armor of God daily. The battle belongs to the LORD! May we present our bodies daily to God as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Not to be conformed to the things of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, proving what is good, acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2 To have a Spiritual transformation daily and to keep our eyes focused on God the Author and finisher of our faith. When we are at a new level the devil really tries his best to get to us. But God is to come first in our every day lives. Read and spend quiet time with God is what really matters! Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10
