Theres a lot of crap opinion on here and the press about Robin Williams suicide. First of all its none of your/our business. I firmly believe the only people who can have any real opinion about the death of a loved one are the actual loved ones of the deceased themselves. Theyre the only people who truly matter when something as devastating as death happens, especially early death and more especially something as complicated and confusing as suicide. When something like this happens opinion is as useful as rabies in a dogs home. I do wonder if when a celebrity or so called VIP kills themselves, does it push the publics control button. By that I mean they cant cope with someones famous choices, that a certain kind of moment is taken out of their control. Control is big right now, peoples desire for control seems to be paramount. Maybe suicide is difficult for people to cope with because its something completely out of their control. So to regain control they have to pile on any number of opinions to bring it back to something they can understand, they can control, even if that demeans, devalues and diminishes the life of the person who killed themselves. I really find it distasteful some of the things Ive come across. Ive even read Williams daughter has left Twitter because of a public back-lash of her emotional opinion on the death of her father. Seriously how do people think they can herrang and torment the daughter of someone whos killed themselves? What on Earth gives these dick-heads a right to do this? Its beyond insensitive, its profoundly bullying and cruel We HAVE retired to Bedlam. Its out of control. Gx
