Theres a point when you realize that all of the decisions youve once questioned, were actually the right ones. Did I pick the right university? Did I change to the right major? Did I meet the right people or make connections with the right professors? I am absolutely grateful for everything and everyone who has entered my life because it has brought me to this point today. It has finally sunk in that Im OFFICIALLY AN MOT after 6 years of complete confusion. And even more important, Ive found an area of occupational therapy that Im incredibly passionate and obsessed with. Its been such a pleasure working with youth who are at risk or involved in the juvenile justice system these past 12 weeks, and in San Francisco nonetheless! I can only hope that Ive impacted their lives even just a fraction of how much they have impacted mine. I cant wait to continue to explore this less traditional area of OT in whatever state I end up living in. Congrats fellow OT students on completing your level II fieldwork! Next stop: graduation! =)
