Theres a simple method for determining if the police officers you know are good cops or bad cops. The conversation should go like this: You: I hate the police. Theyre all bad. Them: Its not all cops. We arent all bad. You: Do you know or work with any bad cops? Them: Ive seen plenty of bad cops in action. Happens all the time. Im not like that tho. You: Well, did you arrest any? Did you speak out against them? Them: Uh, no, but theres a code..... You: Youre no better than the bad cops. Them: ......... Im definitely saying all aspects of law enforcement are severely flawed. (FYI) Helping the old lady cross the street, hiding on the side of the road to catch people speeding, blocking the street off when theres an auto accident, standing around instilling fear in assumed criminals, driving down the street for attention, arresting drunk drivers, saving kittens from fires, and whatever else they do doesnt make up for the sheer amount of unarmed, innocent men, women, and children they shoot, choke, beat, kick, slap, punch, restrain, antagonize, harass, frame, and incarcerate everywhere...everyday. Also, remember that one time a fella named Christopher Dorner tried to tell us the truth about law enforcement, right before he set himself on fire? Maybe thats why cops follow that thin blue line so tough. Im schleep doe!
