Theres alot of times we see a need in people and often we offer kind words or simple gestures. This is a polite thing to do and is a common thing to do but sadly the problem still remains. My question is... what if,,we see a problem and just decide that today ..this is my problem,,What if we just own it and take on the burden with them even when we have no real answer at the time. Sometimes I think God is waiting for just those kind of choices in us...because its those kind of moments,,God gets to show up. I discovered some friends of mine had moved in a place together and needed some help to get started with some basics,,,I know this story all to well myself and someone helped me so How can I not get involved? I rented a truck with the thought of going to pick up a couch and loveseat we had located earlier in the week...drop it off at their place and that would be the end of the process. God had a different plan. Somehow that couch and loveseat also turned into a table and chairs in another town. So I drove the truck there and picked it up and suddenly I needed help to load and unload it all. My friend Walter called and said something in his plans just changed and he was close by where I was,, so he would meet me there. We loaded everything up ,,drove it to its destination and unloaded it all,, but God wasnt through. Another friend of mine named Todd posted on his facebook account about things going on where he was in California. A lady commented on his post and made the most random sentence asking if someone in Cental Florida needed a washer and dryer...she went on to say how blessed she was and wanted to return the blessing to someone in need. Now,,,wouldnt you know,,,My friend and I just had a discussion about their need for a washer and dryer the night before. So,,,long story shortened,,I emailed Todd,,,and within a few hours that rented truck went to Dade City to meet this lady who gave us a washer and dryer for Kirsten. Not only did we receive that,,but we spent a few hours with this lady who blessed us ,,prayed with us,,and we all shared testimonies of the goodness of God. Thank you so much Barbara for your hospitality and blessings for each of us that day...You called us the Joshua generation and how thankful you were to see us in your living room. We thank you for praying and paving the way just as Moses did for us to enter in,,,You deserve the honor for our rewards. Walter shared his testimony,,I got a word truly sent from God spoke out of your mouth..and Kirsten received and also gave as she felt led to pray for this woman and release Heaven to her. You see this day wasnt about couches and loveseats,,its was about Co laboring with God and Him leading our steps. When we do that,,the potential and blessings become unlimited ,,,we see one thing,,God sees the whole picture. How God used this stranger and that stranger,,and Todd in California,,a woman we never knew and three people and a truck and fulfilled his purpose not ours.,,Thats a miracle. Theres something about a yes with good intentions that attracts Gods attention,,,thats Co-laboring with God. What if we can get to a place where it doesnt have to be a one day thing,,,or a Movie like Holy Ghost,,,what if this can become a lifestyle instead of a highlight. I say Yes to God Adventures everyday and no matter what it looks like to begin with,,,just remember God is in it with you now and he writes the endings! In our ending..God even persuaded the most incredible meal ever cooked by Heidi Joy....Oh how he loves us all.
