Theres never been better musicians on the planet.... especially in a band together. Sometimes I love being a one-note banjo. Look... you can have your radio play. You can have your Grammy Awards. You can have your pop stars, your MTV, your Superbowl Halftime shows, your People magazine, your lowest common denominators. You can have that stuff. By all means, keep it. For me... give me the old masters. Give me the Jedi knights. Give me the best of the best. Show me whats possible, not popular. Show me whats classic, not commercial. Show me whats timeless, not trendy. You can have your pop. Give me music.
