Theres so many cliche sayings and quotes in this world about how when you know, you know. And that there arent any words, it is just a feeling. A lot of people think they find that in someone based on an interaction after one week. That is the pink cloud feeling. The honeymoon phase. And it ends because it just wasnt meant to be. But the fact of the matter is...when you know, you just know. And it isnt just one thing, its everything. From the things they do and say, to the way you feel about their family. There are a million words that COULD describe it, but not one word that actually does. You cant describe that feeling..the one that tells you this is just where you are meant to be. And its not because it is perfect. Its because you know you are ready for the struggle and the imperfections. You actually look forward to it just to show what you are made of. You look forward to the battle to make it out on the other side, stronger. The feeling of butterflies in your stomach is a great feeling, dont get me wrong. But finding your soft place to land and knowing you have someone to stand by you and fight is that feeling that has no words. It is the feeling of, when you know, you know...When they dont scare you and you are completely at peace...you close your eyes, and you know. I think its safe to say that, I know...
