Theres so much to be excited about for the Museum in the coming years. In March well break ground to complete the Museum with the final 120,000 sqft - to include a large format theater, an art gallery and studio, historical galleries, a Marine Corps Sports Hall of Fame, classrooms and more. There will be some growing pains along the way and well start seeing for first of them on January 5 when the contractor starts putting up the construction wall in Leatherneck Gallery. Once finished by the end of March, the wall will keep the construction noises and dirt out of the Museum. However, while the wall is being constructed it will be a little noisy and messy along the walls on the right side of Leatherneck Gallery. During that time we wont be able to host any ceremonies inside the Museum. We know thats an inconvenience to some but its necessary growing pain. We apologize in advance for any disappointments but promise it will be well worth the inconvenience.
