Theres this commercial that comes on which starts with the intro to Mr. Bojangles, written by one of my favorite singer/songwriters, Jerry Jeff Walker. So, I have been walking around, humming the melody or singing the lyrics to Mr. Bojangles for several days now. Just about everyone who has ever picked up a guitar has done Mr. Bojangles, but my favorite version ever is by David Bromberg, who played with Jerry Jeff back in the day. This version is from one of Davids albums, which I owned in 78 vinyl in the early 80s.
