Theres this song thats real popular on Christian radio right now and it whines on pathetically about how I dont deserrrrve your love, but you give it to me anyway...I dont like this kind of theological thinking and Im pretty sure God finds it irritating, if not down right blasphemous. What would this be like in a relationship with another person who is just super but the other person blathers on incessantly about how undeserving and pathetic they are and how theyre completely worthless and undeserving? Im pretty sure relationships like that dont last, and if they do, they are abusive in nature. Deserves got nothing to do with it.
