Theres three songs that I think of always when I think of daddy..I woke up with this song in my head.. it was daddys favorite song and the only one I have ever heard him sing and I happened to be with him buying a new truck at the time..funny how you can remember lil things like that. My daddy loved him some George Jones and I definitely got my love of pretty trucks and fast cars from him & Hubie just added to it after we got married! We cant even count how many vehicles hes had but the last one he bought just a couple weeks ago mighta been his favorite he got mama a challenger with a hemi he went after a charger but well ya know the challenger was prettier;) he got to drive the crap out of it Monday night while enjoying his vanilla malt! Johnny Lees Looking for Love is what he taught me how to two step to standing on his boots when I was little an a few years ago before he got sick we got to dance again to the very same song and ya know what thats what I taught my boys to two step to..great memories. My cousin Larry Horn talked about how the song Big Bad John always reminded him if daddy and thought when he was little it was written about him! It was mine and lannas ringtone for him too lol. He was a very good looking, big man with a deep voice who intimidated many (boyfriends lol) and tender, generous heart but also a dont cross me line & wasnt afraid to tell ya just what he thought;) Hubie reminded me the other night I was just like him only in a smaller package..Im so proud to be my daddys daughter:) I sure miss him but I see him everyday in my boys, Beau is so much like him he can work on anything like him, loves cars, so quiet, but loving & Brennon big, bad, intimidating and will nut up on a dime but loving lol! So happy I was such a daddys girl and have these memories to keep and that I know exactly how to drive his tractors and take care of mama just as he would:) thanks yall for the continued texts, phone calls & visits they are all much appreciated I love you all!
