There’s a report in the Chronicle today that Liverpudlian Ryan Taylor could be on the bench for the game with Leicester City on Saturday.. Ryan has come through two games since his latest comeback from his two ACL knee injuries, and it would be a massive boost for Ryan of he is on the bench on Saturday, and it could also be a massive boost for Alan Pardew and Newcastle too. Ryan suffered his first ACL injury in late August of 2012 in the Europa League tie with Atromitos, when he was carried off with the knee injury. And then last April during his first comeback attempt, he suffered another ACL knee injury, and he was operated on in that summer by Dr. Richard Steadman in Vail, Colorado – one of the best knee surgeons in the world.. A training ground source at the club’s Benton base said this to the Chronicle: “Everybody is delighted to see Ryan back on his feet again.” “He’s worked so hard to get back in contention.” “It would no surprise if the bench and the fans rose as one to applaud when he gets back on to the first team stage again.” “He’s a cracking lad and he will deserve such an ovation.” This could be a huge boost for the team, and we can only think that Ryan is playing very well in training, because Newcastle have said they are not going to rush him back. But even if he doesn’t make it on the bench on Saturday, he could be on the bench for our next game at White Hart Lane a week on Saturday. This is great news for Newcastle and great news for the courageous Ryan Taylor too. We should hear more on this from Alan Pardew during his news conference today, and it will be like having a new player when Ryan returns...... So keep yer eyes and ears tuned into SSN today peeps, Lets see what Pards comes out with today!!.....MALLY
