There’s something about beautiful days with the winds hugging you Feeling like you’re set free with wings spread apart Saying goodbye to all the thoughts you have kept in your head Tasting the air like a slave liberated with Freedom And honestly that’s really how I felt Feeling so lost with my hands and feet tied in chains Screaming in my head to let me go But my heart tells me something else It told me, “Keep Going” It told me that there’s a light at the end of this dark tunnel But it’s funny how I would trick myself to trust the path in a dark tunnel Not knowing where it will lead, but my spirit is leading And time to time I forget the beauty of life How my hands and feet reminds me of the places I went and touched And each scars on these calloused hands and feet telling its unique story I have never seen life this beautiful with winds blowing calmly and my heart finally at peace So here I am letting go, with my future in Heaven’s hands Releasing myself in the wind Drinking the air And never forgetting to breathe
