These are not abandoned.. but out of service. A couple washouts isolate this track from the Catskill Mountain Railroad Co.s main track. Recently Ive cleared 1 mile of track in Shandaken NY for motor car uses. The last train to pass through here was in October of 1976. Many good ties! The track is very stable when I use the motor car on it. Ill be going forward with clearing more of this beautiful track soon!
