These are pictures of Vannas biological father John Collins, my father in law. John needs your prayers and blessings. Things are not going well for John. It is my understanding that John will be removed from life support tomorrow, Tuesday morning. I believe that John will not surrender, and there will be a fight. Vannas parents divorced when she was very young, she never had a relationship with John. I worked with John for several years. John told me he lived a hard life. He started working the Illinois corn fields at 13 in the mid 1940s to help feed his brothers and sisters. During the time I knew John, he had callouses on his hands so hard that he wore the leather off the steering wheel of our car. John had his one and only demon. Unfortunately, he allowed his poor choices to overshadow his many good choices. Although John and I no longer talk, I find myself thinking about John often. I hope and pray that John finds his special place in our Lords grace.
