The presidents pay will go from 400,000 per year to 250,000 per year and will not lose the 50,000 annual expense account, the 100,000 nontaxable travel account. members of the house and senate. Their pay gets cut from 174,000 per year to 90,000 per year with the senate and house leaderships (minority and majority party leader) salary being dropped from 193,400 to 111,200 per year and the speaker of the houses going from 223,500 per year to 160,500 per year. the current GS and FS and military pay steps will stay in effect. Congressional members will keep the annual allowance to defray expenses related carrying out their congressional duties, including official office expenses, including staff, mail, travel between a Members district or state and Washington, DC, and other goods and services. 2nd. Education. Professors will be put on a government pay scale to be known as the PaE scale, AKA Professors and Educators pay scale. as such these educators start pay will be no less than 80% more than the federal minimum wage. Educational institutions other than those ran by a religious sect will except any and all applicants based on guide lines. since the educators and institution are ran by the state it means that all person in the form of taxes help pay for them so they cannot be denied admittance. However a person is more than capable of failing and with that comes being dropped from courses. this will drop the price of an education down affording more people the opportunity to become further educated. 3rd. Military and civil service. At the age of 18 people could choose either military service, public and state service or college to complete a bachelors degree. to be clear the government cannot and will not mandate any career or degree path of any individual. Should military service be chosen the training of all Military Occupational Specialties will be conducted at a higher level of required education to ensure that the individual is marketable in the civilian field of his chosen career path. Those that do not complete the education requirement can be moved to public service. those who choose military will elect a contract of no less than 3 years. Those that choose college will build an academic plan for a bachelors degree in their choosing. those that choose public service will bid on jobs. all options will be paid. 4th. Welfare. The drug testing of welfare is mandatory. should you elect not to test then you forfeit receiving benefits. While on welfare those who do not work will work for the state while being afforded at least on day off during the week to make calls and job search. and will receive time to attend any confirmed interviews. Should you elect to receive treatment for chemical dependency at a treatment center then your family will qualify for benefits for the household as long as youre there. Career counseling and educational programs will be made available as part of the welfare program to ensure minimal time spent on the taxpayers dollar. 5th. Prisons will he ran on the they owe a debt to society not the we owe them a debt mentality that seems to have gotten into peoples heads. Prisoners will participate in hard labor. Prisoners whom prove trustworthy will enjoy the benefits of TV privileges and magazine subscriptions. So it cant be called slavery, prisoners who maintain good behavior will receive $100 a month and that money can be sent to a spouse, children or parent or kept for the day of their release. This gives them a perceived reward because yet can buy their kid a christmas present or birthday present. Prisoners who have forfeited these rewards by refusing to work or causing problems at work will like the standard 18 hour cell days with 2 hours in the gym but the only equipment available will be cardio machines. 1 hour library time and 2 hours outdoors (each cell block would have a separate time) and 1 hour of shower and turn in laundry time. The 1 hour library time can be supplemented with 1 hour if services on Sunday for the religion they practice. Just to cover some oddities (yes there is a lot more to cover but lets be honest you wouldnt read it if i wrote 500 pages ;)) Rain water collection, legal. Farmers can sell anything they wish as long as its labeled. I.E. if they wish to sell the cows milk right after it leaves the cow, goes through the filters and into the vat then all they are required to do is tell you it not homogenized. GMOs will be labeled, not because i do or dont like them but because people have a right to know what they are eating. There will be no fines for not participating in any program such as healthcare.
