These are the music clips taken from a short documentary by Werner Herzog in 1968. I posted the whole doc on here a few years ago. I really like the role the bouzouki is playing in this situation. I feel that one unfortunate consequence of the bouzoukis rise to eminence in Greek music is that it has become solidified in one particular role and people dont normally imagine it or try it out in a different role. So this is particularly refreshing. Not only is the bouzouki doing something it normally doesnt do, but its in a very traditional context.
