These bloody Charity adverts are making the otherwise pretty good - TopicsExpress

These bloody Charity adverts are making the otherwise pretty good Sky News totally unwatchable. I now have to have the remote in hand to mute the sound as soon as I hear the first trace of that soft, drippy voice, plaintive piano notes, violins or similar during the break. These are all massive charities, with hordes of executives on 6-figure salaries, and they can all just sod off and leave me alone. They will never get any of my scarce funds, and anyway, our taxes fund loads of charities, many of which, like those advertising on Sky News, dont need taxpayers money. However, some do, and the charity in the article below really should be given some money by the Government, and should be much better known so it can gain wider support. It must save the NHS millions... It will never cease to amaze me how wonderful dogs are, how much we humans owe to them, and how much our respective lives are enhanced by our symbiotic relationship. On days like today, I really miss my Black Lab Basil... dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2884233/The-doggy-doctors-save-owners-lives-day-diabetes-allergies-specially-trained-sniff-danger-raise-alarm.html
