These days, Im spending more and more of my time simply in awe of my kids: Molly is forming a happy family with Barry --- you saw their wonderful wedding photos last month; shes balancing work/life with her career and friends; and shes increasingly empathetic with animals suffering from abuse from humans, particularly industrial food producers. Tyler is building a great career in leading-edge tech endeavors; forging a lovely partnership with JoAnn; and continuing his auto-didactic self-education by reading more broadly and deeply than just about anyone else I know. But today, I want to give a special shout out to Caleb, who is in the middle of an Ironman race near Vancouver BC. Its an amazing undertaking -- a 2.5 mile swim (which took over an hour, in freezing cold water), a 112 mile bike ride (which is about 20% done now), followed by a full 26 mile marathon! Hes been training for years and is now (at this moment) competing in the top 20% (52nd out of 290) of his age group ... in a world-class event. Hes doing all this while being an attentive husand, the worlds Most Doting Father and building his own business.
