These happened years ago ... I jumped from the tail gate of the pickup, walked to the side of the truck and inches from me -- a dump truck rushed by. I walked up to my friends car and her husband who was furious at her roared by inches from my nose -- I felt the trucks metal on my face. I pulled up to a light and the diesel approaching me ran the light, jack knifed and I found my car sitting off the side of the road unharmed. He stopped right where I had sat-- I was alive. I flew from a mountain on a dirt bike, was air lifted, and saw my life flash before me in the flight to the bottom of the canyon - bruised and banged up but living. Then ... in a fit of despair, I wanted to take my life years ago because I couldnt deal with my friends murder and the cancer in my body -- but God kept me on the road that day. He healed my body and brought me to Texas from California. And now 30 plus years later ... Ive written a novel about a little hobo girl who finds family when others are losing family members to a murderer, who is the Phantom Killer in 1946. ... God wants us to choose this day -- life or death. Its a choice. Untied Shoelace my first novel is releasing on February 22, 2014. Who would ever think that I would write this book. I know I never did. God takes the jumps, the roaring by, the fast approaching, the flying off of, the near death situations and gives new life. And for that, I am grateful ...
