These people have more money than they can spend in their lifetimes (unless they start outright buying small countries). They have more than their kids can spend, possibly their grandchildren. The wealthy also have something called family offices which are a whole team of staff including financial analysts, accountants, investment advisors, business managers and others who help them perpetuate their wealth and grow it exponentially. Their grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and even likely (with current tax structure) their great-great-great grandchildren are going to be wealthy regardless of a few billion here or there. Yet many of them dont want to share a penny for you or any one in the middle or working class. They are drunk on power and greed leading us to a neofeudalism. Or maybe they plan on building a spaceship to leave Earth after they ruin it for all of us (/s).
