These reactions of science against religion, reason against revelation/faith, secular questioning of shariah and its principles has for me anyways forced me to really question the Quran, the traditions, the principles of Islam and intellectualize my faith in Islam to become a stronger muslim than ever before. But unfortunately its really sad to see that many are being driven out of the religion under the same environment. We need to educate the islamic community such that these things are not seen as a threat rather comfortably be seen a means to discourse. Otherwise clinging to religion on faith alone is just a person holding his weight on a cliff by a single thread in the 21st Century of reason.
